Mission Statement

Our mission at Cleveland Municipal Airport is to promote a safe, reliable, and welcoming general aviation airport for the benefit of our community and airport users.

General Information

The Cleveland Municipal Airport, owned by the City of Cleveland, is a public-use general aviation airport located 5 miles East of Cleveland, in Liberty County and has a 5,001-foot runway: 16/34. It is a popular spot of training and recreational flying. We are conveniently located 30 miles from IAH.  There is a courtesy vehicle available 24 hours a day for use at the terminal. The airport is open seven days a week for general aviation use. 

 The FAA identifier for the Airport is 6R3. The Unicom frequency is 123.0.

Hanger Rentals

All T-Hangars are currently occupied with a running wait list. Please call the airport to be placed on the waiting list. View the Master Fee Schedule FY 25-26 for current rental rates.
