ARTICLE II. - AIRPORT BOARD

                Sec. 22-31. - Created; appointment of members; filling of vacancy.

            (a) There is created an airport board consisting of eight members. One member shall be the airport manager, and one member shall be a councilmember.                           

               (b) The citizen members of the board shall be appointed for a term of two years by the mayor with the approval of the council.                           

                (c) The citizen members of the board shall serve at the will of the council.                   

               (d) If for any reason a vacancy is created in the board, the mayor shall appoint a new               member; with the approval of the council.
