Functions
- Perform utility billing.
- Issue work orders regarding customer service. This consists of re-reads, turn-offs, taste and odor complaints, and other customer service related requests.
- Maintain work order system, grease trap ordinance, and all required documentation for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas Water Development Board, Environmental Protection Agency, Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Rural Water Association, and FEMA.
- Bid contracts for several types of work and projects annually or on an as-needed basis. These projects include paving, storm debris, storm restoration, etc.
Staff
The Utility Billing Department consists of 2 staff members and functions under the oversight of the City's Accounting Manager, who in turn reports to the Finance Director.
